from a veteran's stash,
here is a choice, near mint German Navy Tropical M43 Hat. Green
lining
that is maker marked and shows no wear, this hat was mint when returned
from
the war and is still in near mint condition, but due to storage in a
wooden
box, it was folded down the center and the bill was folded over.
No true
damage, but does have a crease from the years of storage. Nice
golden
brown Eagle and Swastika and Naval Cocade to the front. Scarce
